Pijlman's house line consists of various acoustic products in two standard sizes and colors. The house line panels are upholstered all around and have a wooden inner frame made of LVL wood, which has an EPD environmental label and is PEFC certified. The standard sizes allow us to pre-produce these products, resulting in faster delivery times than our other products.

Acoustics

By placing acoustic solutions in a room, sound waves are absorbed and converted into thermal energy. Good acoustics contribute to better speech intelligibility and concentration, which increases productivity and performance.

The acoustic material we use has an absorption coefficient of 0.95aw, which means that almost all sound is absorbed and only a minimal amount is reflected. The material is made from recycled jeans, so it's super sustainable too!

Wooden inner frame

The frame of the fully upholstered products is made of LVL, laminated veneer lumber. LVL consists of multiple layers of 3mm spruce veneer glued together, making it lightweight yet relatively stronger than steel. The wood is entirely sourced from renewable, recyclable wood and is therefore very environmentally friendly. It is also PEFC certified and has an EPD environmental label.
